Fixed the name and the rest of the errors.

I couldn't believe how many errors it had. I did it on my phone, and read it like six times, I thought it was perfect, though it had more than twenty five spelling errors. Funny how the brain works, you don't see all of your mistakes, but you see those made by others.

But I digress.

There is a great piece, which floats around facebook from time-to-time, where all the words in an English paragraph are scrambled.  The text (unscrambled) basically says how the brain can "fill in the blanks" allowing you to see the words as they would be correctly spelled. Now, you end up reading this from the scrambled text and the brain is able to compensate.  Fascinating.  Unless, of course, you are trying to proof your text, in which case you don't see the errors because the brain is compensating and filling in the correct spelling.  Fascinating.

Indeed. The word assult and asult are different enough, unless you're reading your own work. You start seeing what you meant instead of what you wrote.

Been watching brain games on National Geographic. Check it out. It'll wow you. Real interesting.

This is why in college my lit professors had us print our papers to proof them.  Change medium, change perception.

Exactly... unfortunately, the farther I get away from my college days, the the more I need reminding of the fundamentals... Thanks for reminding!  lol

really late reply, but better than never.

Cym, feel free to move this as far forward as you want. reply, have the duke enter the ulgo estate, start the operation, even finish it when you want.  You have full control over my characters to use as you wish. I trust you with them.

I'll jump in when the story allows, but I want you to control the pace of this RP from now on because we are on your territory now, and the Crystals would be effected the most by whatever happens here.

Your the Dungeon Master now :P.

got it...off to the Ulgo's we go.  Check out the connection Tintagel made between the various crystals in the Ancient Secrets RP.  I would like to brainstorm with you want types of things this could mean regarding the Crystal Heart.  Is it meant to be specifically attuned to a force user?  Does this mean that even those the ulgos have it, they have NO idea what to do with it?

Appreciate your thoughts.

I will review that in a bit, but you might also want to consider that in this current date of SWTOR, Crystals are also a means of transferring data as you and I would via USB Flash drive as noted in the Very first Heroic you participate in on Tython west of the ruins. So the Crystal Heart could be a highly sophisticated program (Operating System of some sort) that Constitutes the main bulk of the strategic training system. While the AI would be a BIOS of sort, that initiates the startup procedure of the Device. Without the AI(BIOS), the Heart(Operating System) is useless.

The AI would be completely encrypted, while maintaining an artificially created self awareness that allows it to choose who is allowed to decrypt it, thus maintaining the AI aspect of its given name.

I would say you should have it completely technological with no to minimal Force functionality, due to the fact of limiting its possible users will substantially lower its value, and it is supposed to be THE most valuable possession on Alderaan. Anyone should be able to operate it given the two following conditions are met:

1- The Device is complete. As in one has the Heart and the AI.
2- One was successful in decrypting the AI, or the AI simply allowed the user to operate it.

... errr... Sorry for the rant lol.

A long time between episodes, but we are back up and running.

Ceid, as you mentioned earlier, I will move this story along now, but feel free to jump in if you have the time and desire.

Ghanik, I have provided the intro for Mirsh (and any other Sheteshoys you wish to bring along) to enter the RP.

Fun idea (for me, anyway).  Have Olrac at the Crystal/Ulgo meeting.  Agnost is thoroughly terrified of him, andOlrac is mildly annoyed with the Crystals at the moment.  Not furious, or they'd all be dead.  But just have him there as an "I know where you are, and I can get to you" thing.

Just an idea, of course.  Feel free to consider or ignore at your discretion.

Only if Master Turab can be there. Turab is on ceid's team, but he is much much older, much stronger, silent, cold and a mistery. A good grey mirror To orlac. .

Great ideas, both.  An especially good story line seeing as Duke sends Agnost alone as a insult / chess move.  Then for Agnost to have to be in the same room as Olrac allows Agnost to grow as a character (confronting fears, trying to retain Suriea's respect).  But, unknown to both Agnost and Suriea, Duke has included Turab in the escort party (disguised) as a hedge against anything Duke failed to anticipate.

You guys could then take that portion of the story where you please, while I focus on the recovery of the Heart and AI.  What do you think?  If you think it's a good line, then I will work on the intro of the characters when they arrive at the Ulgos.
