And i've never posted repeatedly in a row in an RP ever. In my RP Last Hope, we don't have a strict order of posters. I do on occasion post on every other reply in my RP, but thats usually to set the scene or get the story moving along.

And while we're at it, in no way was my concern about posting relevant to people's jobs or whether they had internet access or not. I was merely speaking in generalities, and referring to the extremes in which you sometimes may not hear from people in days. If i may, I also pointed out that we all are frequently users on this forum, and I said we didn't have to worry about lack of responses.

Read before you type Loy. It might help ya.

back on topic...

I know you sent me a PM wall of text regarding how you wanted the story. I was curious to see how much of that you have personally revealed to other players Pride.

If it would help story development, I suggest posting your thoughts on how you want to structure the story in this thread. If you desire to keep the mystery/suspense then I guess don't spoil anything :P

I just wondered how the hell he got that out of Malak and was wondering what it had to do with anything?

Ok, if you insist on me explaining Arabic grammar...

There are root words in arabic, usually 3 letters. The meem, lam and kaaf are the 3 little letters that I was describing.

Each root can be used to build up newer words. Also, by changing the vowel markings on the three little letters, you can create newer words.

Is it messed up? of course it is. Pronouncing a SINGLE word slightly different may change the meaning of that word entirely. But thats just how Arabic is.

So, with altered vowel marks, its generally WRITTEN the exact same way, but a different word. Maluku (im describing the altered pronounciation from malak) means king.

Seems like Malik is king (chieftain). Close enough.... definitely looks like it is pronounced the same way.

The weird thing is they made his name from the word malice.

Malik is king, Malika is queen, I don't know what Maluku means, that is wrong in all 22 distinct regional Arabic accents and all their sub-accents. If you meant Muluk, that means Kings (Multiple). But that belongs in an Arabic studies thread, lol not here.

Everyone got the great Wall of Chi... Wall of text in a PM when they confirmed their participation, though if I forgot someone, let me know and I'll send it to you.

I don't if Nysa got my massage about this thread, but hope he participates in the discussion.

Well, you got here safe and sound anyways.

Any thought on the 4 points mentions in the first post?

"The Trap" is a suitable title, however "Snared" seems suitable as well.

Turn based is okay, however there will be parts where two or three chracters step to the fore breifly, it happens, and as Quyn pointed out, there are some characters who play secondary roles and can kick back eating Pringles watching hockey or something.

Post length can be entirely based on what is happening at the time, although I agree one page tops.

Dialogue is one thing that can be a royal PITA, especially when there's a lot going on, we need something to keep it to a minimum, the posting delay that is.

2 for "The Trap", 2 for "It's a Trap" and 1 for "Ambush". Quyn, your vote could be the tie beaker.

We will have no official limit on posts, but keep it reasonable.

No double posting.

The length of the trap, we wont stretch it too long, but we will have some fun with it.

The order of posting When we are grouped will be:

Quyn - Smuggler Scoundrel
Ceid - Jedi Sage
Nysa - Jedi Shadow
Loyheta - Jedi Guardian
Amasro - Trooper Commando
Celadon - Jedi Guardian

During our separation we will use the new scene method. There are three groups, Ceid's group, Amasro's group and Quyn on the shuttle.

The order of posting per group is as follows.

Group 1          Group 2          Group 3
Ceid               Amasro          Quyn
Nysa              Celadon          Quyn LOL
Loyheta                              Quyn

I will control the scenes as a director or editor would do in a movie.

Unless any of you has an objection, the RP will start tomorrow.

Please check this thread often during the RP, just to make sure if the scene has been switched or not. This is going to be fun.
